Access to information is a critical component to successful health care policy. Transparency is a core value of BHCAG and the driving force behind all of BHCAG’s key initiatives. The general public and the business community need access to information and data that can influence the decisions they make about how they purchase health care coverage and services. For more than 20 years, BHCAG has been working with employers, political leaders and health care organizations to improve transparency in all aspects of health care and that spirit of collaboration is now more important than ever.
BHCAG continues to advocate for transparency in health care and to foster collaboration and innovation between business and political leaders, health plans and health care providers. While we have come a long way toward our goal of helping to ensure that people receive the right care, at the right time and the right price, further improvement and ongoing access to information will ultimately make that goal even more sustainable.
